How do I book a session with you?
A portrait agreement and session fee will be required to reserve your session date and time. This takes place during or after your scheduled design consultation.
Why doesn't my session fee include digital files?
I am a full service photographer, which means that from beginning to end I am by your side. This ensures that our time together doesn't end with you having an online gallery, disc or thumb drive of photos you never do anything with. I believe in giving you the highest quality experience, which includes tangible artwork that is a representation of your family and legacy. In the end you'll have heirloom portrait artwork that will be passed down through your family for generations to come.
What if I want digital images as well?
Excellent! I include digital files with any display print, heirloom album and folio box purchased, along with collections too. I believe in providing you with the best of both worlds. Digital to share on social media and prints and products that you can cherish in your home.
Couldn't I just make prints for much cheaper myself?
You sure could. But the art isn't the paper your image is placed on, it's YOU! Printing at a big box store is not high, long lasting quality. I ensure your portraits are from the most professional top labs in our country. Those that choose to work with me value quality, service and the beautiful portrait art they can display and be proud of in their home.
Why do you run your business differently than other photographers?
The beautiful thing about this industry is that there is a client for everyone! We can all see photography, art and people differently. I can't speak for others, but this business is my mission, passion and calling. I believe in human connection and quality of service. Portraits are so much more than a smiling picture to share on social media. I value the time I spend with my clients from the first phone call to the last delivery. Friendships are made and memories are preserved. As a Mom, I value being able to photograph less clients and spend more quality time with the ones I work with, while also experiencing the joys of working from home and serving my own family to the best of my ability. I know this type of photography process may be different than ones you've had in the past, but I guarantee your portrait experience is one worth investing in.
Do you offer head shots?
I do! I love to work with fellow professionals to showcase their personality, style and profession. I not only offer personalized head shot sessions, but also branding and website design/assistance. Please get in touch with me if you need help moving your brand to the next level.
Do you photograph weddings?
No, I do not. I spent many years in the wedding business and found it didn't fit into my family lifestyle anymore. I will, however, photograph your engagements session if needed, so please feel free to contact me.
Help, I can't decide what to wear for my session!
I was recently called a "styling ninja"! I LOVE to assist with the styling process and am here for anything you need during your portrait process. I can put together a shopping list for your or you are welcome to send me photos of outfit options and I ensure to give you my honest and professional opinion. Do not stress, I want to make sure you look your best and feel comfortable too because it is imperative for beautiful portraits.
When can I expect to view my proofs?
10-14 days after your session we will meet for your ordering appointment. Once your balance is paid you will have access to the digitals included in your purchase and orders arrive 2-4 weeks after your order is finalized.
